Apabila menonton Formula 1 biasanya kita cuma memperhatikan jumlah putaran, berapa jumlah waktu yang ditempuh untuk satu putaran, posisi para pembalap, dll. Tapi dibalik itu banyak fakta-fakta menarik yang mungkin belum kita ketahui dalam Formula 1. ini dia beberapa diantaranya.
1. Dalam 1 kali balapan seorang pembalap rata-rata kehilangan berat sebanyak 2 Kg. Jumlah ini bisa lebih jika balapan berlangsung pada sirkuit yang panas seperti Sepang, atau Bahrain.
2. Jumlah berat seluruh peralatan yang harus dibawa setiap tim F1 buat satu kali balapan sebanyak 28 ton. Terdiri atas spare parts, tools, peralatan pit-stop termasuk tiga sasis cadangan. Ada sekitar 10.000 spare-part dan 1500 kertas dan kantong pembungkus dengan logo team.
3. 100 radio komunikasi antar anggota tim serta pembalapnya selama race weekend (kamis-minggu). Alat komunikasi lain yang dibawa antara lain 16 CPU dan lebih kurang 30 notebook/laptop.
