Taktshang atau Tiger Nest Monestry (Biara Sarang Harimau) adalah Biara yang paling terkenal di Bhutan. Berdiri Kokoh pada batu karang pada ketinggian 3,120 meter ( 10,200 kaki), sekitar 700 meter ( 2,300 kaki) di atas Lembah Paro.

Taktshang or Tiger Nest Monestry (Tiger's Nest Monastery) is the most famous monastery in Bhutan. Sturdy standing on a rock at a height of 3,120 meters (10,200 feet), approximately 700 meters (2,300 feet) above the Paro valley.
The name "Tiger Nest" which means "Tiger's Nest", is derived from the legend of Padmasambhava (Guru Rinpoche) flew there on the back of a tiger.
Monastery includes seven temples which can all be visited. TSB monastery was burned and has been undergoing refurbishment. Climbing to the monastery on foot or using donkey.
This temple is present as a very popular tourist attraction because of its beautiful natural panorama view. Temple is located on the banks of the Paro valley can not be reached by any vehicle. If you would like to visit there, have the stamina to climb the mountain past the valley and do not forget to bring a parachute if the sudden ga intentionally slippery pole.
Nama "Tiger Nest" yang berarti " Sarang harimau", berasal dari legenda Padmasambhava ( Guru Rinpoche) terbang kesana diatas punggung seekor harimau.
Biara meliputi tujuh kuil yang semua bisa dikunjungi. Biara tsb pernah terbakar dan Telah mengalami pemugaran. Pemanjatan kepada biara berjalan kaki atau menggunakan keledai.
kuil ini hadir sebagai objek wisata yang sangat digemari karena view panorama alamnya yang indah. Kuil yang terletak di tepian lembah Paro ini tak bisa ditempuh dengan kendaraan apapun. Bila anda ingin berkunjung kesana, siapkan stamina untuk mendaki gunung lewati lembah dan jangan lupa bawa parasut kalo tiba-tiba ga sengaja kepleset.
