Google ingin merebut pasar teknologi yang bisa dipakai

Google memperkenalkan fitur baru di produk kacamata Google Glass, yang memungkinkan pengguna memotret dengan "kedipan."

Google mengatakan fitur itu lebih cepat dari tombol kamera atau perintah suara dan bahkan bisa tetap digunakan ketika layar sedang dimatikan.

Inovasi di Google Glass ini juga ditambah dengan kemampuan untuk mengunggah dan berbagi video di YouTube.
Perusahaan-perusahaan teknologi sangat berminat untuk mencaplok pasar produk teknologi yang bisa dikenakan, dan dipandang sebagai area pertumbuhan utama.

Google mengatakan fitur kedip juga bisa diperluas fungsinya di masa depan.
"Bayangkan hari ketika anda naik taksi dan anda cuma mengedip ke arah argo untuk membayar," kata Google di blog mereka.

Perusahaan lain yang ingin merebut pasar teknologi yang bisa dipakai adalah Heapsylon di AS.
Mereka membuat kaos kaki bersensor untuk membantu pengguna memantau keseimbangan mereka saat berjalan atau berlari.
Sedangkan perusahaan Cina Shanda meluncurkan Geak Ring, alat berbentuk cincin untuk membuka data di ponsel yang terkunci agar bisa dilihat oleh orang lain.
